ROCeltic was established by Briana Blair Kelly in 2019. ROCeltic first began as a show in the 2019 Rochester Fringe Festival and was later developed into a performance company. The goal of ROCeltic is to provide a platform for local composers and choreographers to create, collaborate, and show their work.

“ROCeltic” celebrates Irish heritage – past, present and future – through music and dance. Collaborative creations investigate how “traditional” Irish art forms can exist, thrive, and even transform within this contemporary context. Progressive with a traditional foundation, “ROCeltic” strives to break down genre barriers and create ties between cultures. Composers, choreographers and performers hail from Rochester and its surrounding communities, presenting a sampling of our area's boundless creative potential.
